М

The most effective treatment for hyperpigmentation is a therapy with the Lumenis Quantum SR / HR system with the use of an IPL tip.

TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION

Hyperpigmentation is caused by an abnormal accumulation of melanin in the skin. Melanin is a pigment that determines the skin tone. Under the influence of various factors, in some areas of the skin excess production of melanin begins. This leads to the appearance of pigment spots.

Nowadays, phototherapy is the most efficient and safe technique for the treatment of the most common skin problems including the treatment of hyperpigmentation. It is realized through the noninvasive method for the point affection of the cells containing excess pigment. The photorejuvenation technique for the removal of pigment spots allows removing melanin clumps in a very precise and selective way without undesired mechanic or heat damage to the surrounding tissues. This is the fastest method for the removal of the superficial pigmentation removal. Just after the first procedure, pigment spots usually begin to blacken and peel. Removal of pigmentation focuses that are deeply within the skin may require more treatment sessions. In these cases, the clarification of skin pigment happens progressively as pigmentolysis within each layer increases.

That is why we advise you to start treating pigment spots just after their appearance to prevent its penetration deep into the skin layers.
