The procedure is almost painless and requires no anesthesia. Slightly visible vessels disappear after 1-2 procedures, while pronounced vessels are removed after 2-4 procedures spaced 10-15 days apart. During the treatment, only capillary walls are affected while the surrounding skin is not injured. The procedure is followed by a slight reddening of the skin or a small bruise, which disappear soon.
